Shayan Shirkhodai
Shayan is an associate attorney in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office. His practice focuses on representing employers in a wide range of employment matters, including wrongful termination, wage-and-hour disputes, and claims involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Shayan received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University, Loyola Law School (LLS). While there, Shayan was a member of the ACLU of LLS and volunteered at LLS’s Employment Rights Clinic, where he investigated, mediated, and recommended outcomes for employment retaliation claims filed with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). Before joining Pettit Kohn, Shayan worked as a law clerk for a plaintiff-side employment law firm, where he handled wage-and-hour disputes and claims brought under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
Prior to law school, Shayan received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of work, Shayan enjoys practicing the guitar, and playing tennis and soccer.
